Buckinghamshire Hero Awards

Buckinghamshire hero awards – uniformed services sponsor.

The 2020 Buckinghamshire hero awards are set to take place at Missenden Abbey on the 24th April. The prestigious black tie event will be attended by both sponsors and nominees to celebrate our local heroes in a number of different categories such as:

  • Outstanding Bravery – A child or adult who has shown exceptional bravery in the face of adversity.
  • Child Of Courage – A child under 16 who has shown exceptional courage and maturity beyond their years.
  • Neighbour of the Year – The perfect neighbour who goes out of their way to help you and others in the community.
  • Volunteer of the Year – Someone who gives up their time to volunteer and make a difference.
  • Carer of the Year – Someone who gives up their time to care for and improve the quality of life of another.
  • Young Achiever– A child under the age of 16 who has achieved something amazing in their life.
  • Eco Hero – Someone who is taking action to solve the world’s tough environmental problems.
  • Teacher of the Year – A teacher who has gone above and beyond to support and inspire the next generation.
  • Uniformed Services – A member of the emergency services, armed forces or a similar role who has shown exceptional heroism in their field of duty.

The award will celebrate a member of the emergency services, armed forces or someone in a similar role who has shown exceptional heroism in the field of duty. If you know of someone who meets the criteria, then you can nominate them on the Mix96 website.

The Uniformed Services award is a cause close to Parrott & Coales’s heart. Having been a part of Aylesbury high street for over 240 years, working closely with the AAPOPP and the RAF during that time, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate those who work hard to keep our families and country safe.
