Contentious Trusts and Probate – advising disappointed beneficiaries and executors in claims for and against estates. This includes burial locations, possession of ashes, testamentary capacity, removal of administrators/executors, rectification, revocation and fraudulent wills.

Landlord and Tenant – advising landlords and tenants in commercial and residential possession claims for rent arrears, trespass, anti-social behaviour, service of section 8 and 21 notices and gas servicing injunctions.

Employment – Settlement Agreements for employees whose employment contracts are being terminated, ensuring that employees’ rights are protected and the removal of any onerous post termination restrictions.

Court of Protection – advising parties engaged in disputed Deputyships in relation to health, welfare, property and finance.

Lease Extensions – advising both Freeholders and Leaseholders in statutory lease extension cases.

Neighbour disputes – including boundary issues, cease and desist letters, injunctions and abatement notices.

Defamation – claims for slander and defamation including media.

Change of name deeds and independent legal advice given for guarantors and occupiers.

Commissioner of Oaths duties including the swearing of affidavits and statutory declarations.

Disciplinary and Regulatory – advising professionals who have been struck off or are facing proceedings from their professional body in the Administrative Court.

Commercial Litigation, Professional Negligence and Dispute Resolution – advising both Claimants and Defendants in all types of disputes.

Personal Injury – advising both Claimants and Defendants. Specialist advice includes claims involving high value road traffic accidents, fatal accidents, accidents abroad, public and employer’s liability, consumer law, animals, air and rail as well as claims against the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority who compensate victims of violent crime. George has represented clients with a multitude of injuries including brain injuries, spinal, fractures, soft tissue, loss of limbs, multiple injuries and psychological trauma and representing children and patients lacking mental capacity.

Outside of the Office:

George enjoys backgammon, poker, geocaching, reading, cinema, hiking, travelling, cooking and running around after his four children.
